Images from 'Gens de Passage' - a dialogue between two photographers' - July to September 2015.
This unique exhibition featured thirteen sets of ‘paired photographs’ made between 1997 and 2015 in eighteen cities representing a total of twelve countries on five different continents. A chance communication between gallery owner Segall Burnett and Belgian photographer Marino Smette, the latter based in Brussels, led to the project featuring candid street shots of like subjects going about their regular day seemingly unaware of the camera's eye.
